From the very beginning, the Steiert company has placed great value on qualified training in the dual system. Since 1980, the year it was founded, around 70 young people have been trained, most of whom have stayed with the company. The fact that four apprentices are starting this year is a very special event. "We are very pleased that the young people have recognized the value of training and see their future opportunities with us," says Birgit Baumer-Steiert, Managing Partner. There are currently a total of six apprentices in the company.
All four attended schools in the Elztal and did an internship at the Steiert company as part of their career orientation. They were enthusiastic about the technical requirements and the friendly team. The whole team will now support them in their 3.5-year training to become precision mechanics.
